I have finally made contact with the landlord to check his bank details are correct to which he tells me were incorrect.

Further to the above the Mercedes transmission expert in Malaga telephoned me on Friday evening and believes that when Mercedes last completed their full/large service that we paid for which included the servicing of the transmission box regarding replacement of oil and filter, he believes it was not done.
 
He believes this because the oil was extremely black and he only managed to retrieve 4 litres where it should be 10 litres.
 
As a result he has now changed the gearbox oil and filter & likewise the engine oil and has test drove the vehicle for a distance of 50 kilometres without any faults and driven he believes perfectly.
 
He thinks the problem is resolved.
The cost of his diagnostic’s, labour and parts come’s to €710 euros. I have no funds available and mums funds only stand at 250 euros which mum is using for food n drink this week.
If you want confirmation of what I have been told I can give you Mr Dodd's telephone number but will require a bank transfer Monday morning to pay for repairs to release the only vehicle we have.
